Launch in VM

Overview

Users can launch the following applications in a Virtual machine (VM). Users can select the most cost-effective options. They can filter the VMs based on provider, cost, configuration, OS and VM geographical location.

Detailed VM application installation example - REDIS

After clicking on ADD APPLICATION a pop-up modal opens up. Check the box to indicate that you have read and agree to the terms of the license agreement of that particular application. If you click on “See more“ you will be able to see highlights, support, tutorial and documentation sections.

There are two buttons on the bottom of the pop-up modal: + LAUNCH IN VM & + LAUNCH IN K8S. If you are not already in a project you will be asked to select a project. Select the project where you want this application to be launched or deployed. In this section, we will go over the + LAUNCH IN VM button.

After the project is selected after clicking the + LAUNCH IN VM button, a page will be launched which will help you create a VM with the application installed. Add a meaningful name for the VM and set up an SSH key.
